Thanksgiving Essentials

The 2020 Free Thanksgiving Dinner campaign with Walmart fed 3.15 million Americans and was the second most searched term on Google in November according to Forbes. Participating brands experienced an average of 370% sales growth at Walmart for the month and improved their category share by an average of 20 points. The effort spanned web, email, push notifications, national TV, influencer campaigns, social media and created an incremental halo effect for brands sponsoring the More Thanksgiving Essentials event, which runs Nov. 1-30.

Food for Thought

More than 1 million new users joined Ibotta in November 2020 so they could take advantage of the Free Thanksgiving deal.
